The Tale of Two Statues

This fella has apparently been staring at the female statue (closer view upper left)
in a distance of 2,435 feet for the last 100 years1. 

Without any progress ever being made . . .


1. Since Washington Union Station was built in 1908, and the Columbus Fountain was completed in 1912.
